This Grade II listed cottage is set within the grounds of Waldershare Park and is within an easy drive of Dover. Why not take the ferry over to France for the day?. Ground Floor:

First Floor:

Study: With single sofa bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements).
Bedroom 2: With kingsize bed and en-suite with bath, shower attachment, toilet and tiled floor.. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Grounds (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has an advanced water system.. Built in the 1700s, beautiful Barn Cottage, accessed via a private lane, is a Grade II listed house located within Waldershare Park, boasting 40 hectares of land and first owned by Sir Henry Furness. In the middle sits the stunning Waldershare mansion house which was built in 1712 and has Grade I listed status. The estate was passed onto the Earl of Guilford and still remains in their family today.
Stunning views of the parkland are admired in every room at Barn Cottage, you will especially enjoy the study room on the first floor which is the perfect place for reading your favourite book. The cottage still has its original fireplaces as feature pieces in the living room and first floor bedroom, adding to its traditional character. Enjoy preparing family meals in the well-equipped kitchen offering a Stanley oven for cooking. Two generous size bedrooms comfortably sleep four guests, with the study room offering an additional single sofa bed.
Waldershare Park is situated near to Dover, so it is very easy to take the ferry over to France for the day! For keen hikers, take a visit to the famously known White Cliffs of Dover for the coastal trail. Beach 6 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
