About this property

Three storey weather boarded property enjoying a fantastic location directly on the pretty shingle beach in the East Kent town of Whitstable, with its choice of eateries.

This property is situated in one of Kent s best loved coastal towns: Whitstable. The town makes a fantastic place to enjoy a quiet seaside break, particularly for those who enjoy eating out and sampling the local food. The town is famous for its oysters and there are several fantastic places to enjoy these, as well as a number of gastropubs, and traditional fish and chip shops. The town is not only popular with foodies, but also with artists, and visitors will find a number of interesting galleries and workshops on the town s high street, alongside a range of interesting independent shops. This traditional beachfront property is the perfect place to enjoy a taste of authentic seaside life, and is ideally situated for those who want to spend time relaxing on the beach. On arrival, guests come to the first of the property s three bedrooms: a twin room, next to which there is a shower room with a shower and WC. Taking the stairs to the first floor, guests will be met by the magnificent sea views which dominate the lounge/diner. Dual aspects windows flood the room with light and allow guests to enjoy the wonderful sight of the waves crashing on the beach just a few metres away here, and there is plenty of space to relax on the comfortable chairs and sofas, perhaps enjoying a film on the TV/DVD, or spend time lingering over a meal at the large dining table. The kitchen has another dining table: a smaller sized breakfast table, and is well equipped, offering an oven. hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Stairs lead on to the second floor accommodation, where the remaining two bedrooms can be found. The first of these is the stylish master bedroom, a double room which offers fantastic views. The final bedroom is a pleasant twin room, whilst the main bathroom can also be found on the second floor and has a shower over bath and WC. Doors from the lounge/diner lead out to the decked terrace which offers uninterrupted views of the sea. In addition to this there is a pretty, enclosed courtyard style garden which offers guests a private, secluded space where they can enjoy alfresco meals or simply relax to the gentle sound of the waves, and enjoys direct access to the beach. There is off road parking provided for two cars on the property s driveway. Need to know: 3 bedrooms: 1 double and 2 twins (1 on the ground floor). Bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
