A few minutes walk around the shingle beach, past the old fishermen s sheds, is the village of Tankerton, with its sloping beach and prettily painted beach huts, which is a popular spot for families. This property makes a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Whitstable and on arrival, guests will see just how special it is, with its weather boarded exterior and attractive period features. The heart of the property is the spacious kitchen which provides a great communal space for friends and family to gather, eat, and simply enjoy one another s company. The beamed ceiling, wooden floors, and warming AGA create a wonderfully cosy atmosphere in this room, which is equipped to a high standard with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cafetierre, breadmaker, washing machine, and tumble dryer, as well as a DAB radio. At one end of this room is a large dining table which comfortable seats six diners, whilst there is also a second dining area in the property s conservatory which leads out onto the decked terrace. There is also a small lounge on the ground floor, which makes a great place to escape to with a good book or the Sunday papers. The main sitting room, with its uninterrupted sea views, a feature fireplace, and Smart TV/ DVD player can be found upstairs on the first floor, as can two bedrooms. The first of these is the master bedroom with a Hypnos Premier Inn mattress on the double bed, whilst the second bedroom is a bunk bedroom, both of which offer plenty of space for storing clothes. Steps lead to a converted sail loft, now the second double bedroom with a Hypnos premier Inn mattress. Interestingly, there is also a Yahama keyboard in this room which may appeal to guests with musical skills. Completing the first floor is the main bathroom, a sanctuary like space with a large spa bath featuring underwater lighting, and a WC. Outside, there is a decked terrace just outside the property which offers unrivalled sea views. Parking is available in local public car parks.
