Old Vines Cottage in Whitstable is praised for its superb location, comfort, and the convenience of on-site parking. Guests appreciate its proximity to the beach and town, as well as the child-friendly amenities. While some mention it can be snug for larger groups and note minor issues with cleaning and maintenance, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many expressing a desire to return.
Most guests found the cottage clean and cosy, though there was a single mention of cleaning issues upon arrival. This seems to be an exception rather than the rule, hence the high score.
The location is consistently lauded as exceptional, with the cottage being right on the beach, near a pub, and within walking distance of the town's attractions.
The cottage is described as comfortable and snug, with a few comments about limited headroom in the upper bedrooms and potential snugness for larger parties.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and the inclusion of a second toilet. However, some guests noted the need for TLC and careful navigation of steep staircases.
