About this property

Lovely seaside themed Kent self-catering holiday cottage in an unrivalled location close by Whitstable’s bustling high street and the harbour quayside with adorable pebble bay. Bring your dogs for a wonderful walk on the beach!

Just a pebble’s throw to the harbour in Whitstable, Stowaways is a lovely self-catering cottage in Kent just perfect for couples and families. Beautifully decorated with a seaside theme, including quaint touches to add to the charm of a period coastguard cottage. The cottage, with its abundance of character, includes bisquity tones and seagull blues, inspired by the coastal landscape and provides a tempting backdrop for the perfect family holiday. Family holidays have never been so well catered for, with the best of modern conveniences including Wi-Fi and an equipped cosy kitchen, making this holiday accommodation a home.

Recline outside with a chilled glass of wine watching as the little ones play happily alongside, you will soon appreciate the simpler things in life. The outdoors is the perfect setting for alfresco dining or simply the best place for catching up on that long overdue reading list with nothing but the birds overhead.

The light in Whitstable is quite remarkable, enhanced by the coastal location that has inspired many artists and the theatrical to make Whitstable their homes. The residents have shared their bohemian style and the town now exudes, what has come to be known as “Whitstable Chic”.

Enjoy exploring the vintage cafes, boutiques and antique shops, independent stores, including a record shop, as well as many others.

Stowaways offers a home from home in an enviable location in one of Kent’s most prized locations, whilst the charm of Whitstable is no secret, it will certainly not disappoint.

Stowaways was perfect and cosy for the two of us with our dog (who was made very welcome by the owner). The town, harbour and beach are all very accessible and easy walking distance from the cottage. Parking is on the road, which is not a problem in February, but I don't know what it would be like in the peak season.
