This charming single storey cottage is tucked behind a high yew hedge on a beautiful private estate.  The cottage provides cosy and comfortable accommodation for 4 people.  The pretty village of Wickhambreaux sits on the Little Stour river and is a delight, with a water mill, pretty cottages and a very good local pub The Rose which is 5 minutes walk or the excellent Duke William at Ickham which is only 15 minutes' walk.  The city of Canterbury which is just 5 miles away is an absolute 'must-do', it is a unesco world heritage site, offering a wealth of history to discover, fantastic shopping, the stunning cathedral and a huge choice of restaurants and cafes to enjoy.  For a family day out with children, head to nearby Wingham Wildlife Park or Howletts Wild Animal Park, where visitors can enjoy everything from rhino and gorillas to penguins and even dinosaurs!!  If you just want to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet then discover the hammock in the beautiful grounds and while away the hours with a good book under the trees.  Shop: 1.5 miles     Pub: 200 yds   Coast: 10.4 miles

Bathroom is carpeted and has a shower cubicle with hand basin, heated towel rail and w.c

Garden: Private area of gravelled courtyard to the front of the cottage  with garden furniture and a high yew hedge .  Guests are also  invited to explore the extensive grounds and gardens surrounding the main house (there is a private garden for the Home Owner's personal use), including a sunken garden, rose garden, koi carp stream and meadows with mature trees. The tennis court and cedarwood pavilion are also available for guests' use.There is a wood fired barbecue for use in the summer months.

Notes:   Access to the property is via a gated private driveway with key code access. NO smoking at this property and no pets allowed. A laundry service can be provided on request for a charge of £10 per load.  The Owners run yoga retreats, if this is of interest please speak to them direct.
