The Black Horse Inn close to Canterbury Cathedral is ideal for both business and leisure stays. We offer a range of well appointed ensuite accommodation plus handy facilities including a guest kitchen, Wi-Fi and garden. 

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Our twin ensuite room 'Cathedral View' is well furnished with memory foam twin beds, a flat screen TV, fridge, hair dryer, ensuite with power shower and tea/ coffee making facilities. We also have a small double ensuite room and classic double ensuite room which are similarly well equipped. Furnishings include a hypoallergenic bed and pillows plus plenty of storage space.

Breakfast

Our room rates include a cooked breakfast which is served from 8am to 10am.

Other Facilities

Guests enjoy use of a modern kitchen with cupboard space, laundry facilities, an iron and board. The garden has seating where you dine al fresco or just relax in the summer.

Availability

Please note that we only accept children over 15 years old and do not have family rooms. Check in time is 2pm to 8pm and guests are requested to call 07768936646 at least an hour before arrival. Single occupancy stays are welcome.

Directions

A2 Coast bound

(2.8mi, 4.5km)

Take the Canterbury slip road off the A2 and follow signs toward the city, go up the hill, at the first set of traffic lights go straight over. At the large roundabout take the first exit into London Road. At the small roundabout by St Dunstans Church on your right, take the second exit down St Dunstans Road. At the first crossroads turn left into Orchard Street opposite Roper Road. The Black Horse Inn is halfway along Orchard Street on the left, the façade is yellow.
