Ella's Loft in Canterbury, Kent, receives high praise for its warm and cosy atmosphere, with guests frequently commending the friendly and helpful hosts, Steve and Sheila. The property is celebrated for its idyllic location, perfect for exploring the local area. The addition of a hot tub and welcome packs, often including homemade treats, adds to the charm and appeal of this holiday rental.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently mention the loft being clean and comfortable, indicating high standards of cleanliness. There is no mention of any cleanliness issues, suggesting that guests are very satisfied with the state of the property upon arrival.

The location is frequently described as great, with easy access to major roads and the whole of Kent. Its proximity to scenic walks, bike riding, and local pubs, as well as being a short drive to beach areas, makes it an ideal spot for visitors looking to explore the county.

Many reviews highlight the comfort of the loft, mentioning the cosy setting and the relaxing hot tub. However, a few guests noted the property's low eaves as a slight discomfort, particularly for taller individuals, which slightly affects the overall comfort score.

Facilities such as the hot tub and wood burner are highly praised, but there are minor mentions of maintenance issues like a toaster needing to be held down and a broken blind. These small issues suggest that while facilities are generally excellent, there is room for improvement in maintenance.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating the welcome packs that include locally produced items and homemade cakes. While these gifts are highly valued, it is important to note that such personal touches, though common, may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Warm welcome for our labrador too. Home from home and the little touches made all the difference. Perfect little hideaway. Hot tub was meticulously maintained and views were wonderful. Even in the rain! Would highly recommend and will definitely be booking again.

Great long weekend stay and Steve even managed to arrange some sunshine for us (our one request). Lovely little place which is perfect for a little recharge. Thank you

The owners where friendly and welcoming and the loft is a lovely little space. The loft had everything we needed to self cater and was warm and comfortable. Yes its small but I would say perfectly formed and plenty of space for the two of us. Its a lovely peaceful location but well sited for Canterbury and the coast. The hot tub is a lovely addition and being undercover means it can be used in all weathers. I'm really looking forward to visiting again in the future.
