The house and grounds are beautifully secluded and reputed to be located on a high concentration of leylines providing a magical and healing atmosphere.

The estate, which dates back as far as medieval times, is rich in characterful charm and full of intriguing collectables and antique furniture with spacious bohemian-styled rooms and comfortable airy bedrooms including an attic boudoir accessible by a medieval wide-planked ladder.

2 acres of grounds encircles the house with beautiful tumble-down gardens, wide open lawns and an array of seating areas, perfect for outdoor picnics or a spot of boules, croquet or even badminton.

Feasts from the farmhouse kitchen can be rustled up on the electric Aga. Wonderful period oak beams and York stone floors create a charming background, perfect for a celebration or gathering.

During the Summer season, a basket of home-grown vegetables and salads from the vegetable garden and greenhouse is also available on request, as well as hampers of local produce and supplementary cakes from a local baker. In the Summer and Autumn, there are crops of cherries and an array of other fruits to gather for both eating or cooking with.

At the rear of the gardens, which is a delight for bird-watchers, the snow-drop scattered woods provide ample play opportunities for older children interested in den-making and trampolining, whilst supervising adults and smaller children can picnic nearby. For those simply looking for rest and relaxation - enjoy lazy mornings set adrift in luxuriously soft organic bedding, sip a chilled G&T on the terrace or perhaps plunge into soothing hot bubbles in your very own private outdoor Jacuzzi overlooking the gardens.

Beyond the Bluebells: sleeps 10 (maximum 10 adults), 4 bedrooms, 1 en-suite bathroom, 1 family bathroom, 2 reception rooms, open fire in the Inglenook, enclosed extensive gardens, ample parking, outside WC and shower, swing, trampoline, outdoor Jacuzzi (for 4). Orchard, woods and natural pond at the bottom of the garden (accessible through a secured gate).​

Kitchen: fridge, electric Aga oven with hobs, additional Baby Belling tabletop oven, butler sink, dishwasher, washing machine, radio and iPod dock, dining table seating 10. Access to garden and patio on both sides.
Utility room: freezer, drying machine and food storage, garden games.
Hallway / snug: sofa bed (sleeps 2) and chair seating for 6, upright piano, TV, DVD player.
Sitting room: sofa and chair seating for 8/10 guests, Inglenook fire place with log burning fire.

Ground floor bedroom (sleeps 2) double bed, desk and chair, dolls house, iPod Doc station, wardrobe hanging space, ensuite bathroom with sink, heated towel rail, ample storage, slipper bath, shower over.

Family room (sleeps 4) one double bed, and 2 single beds (ideal for families as connects to the Master bedroom), additional separate entrance to ground floor.
Family bathroom: washer stand dressing table, sink, throne seat toilet, wonderfully spacious slipper bath with shower mixer tap, unrivalled views of the surrounding fields.
Attic - accessed by ladder style wooden staircase
