About this Holiday Cottage

Forge Cottage is a delightful semi detached property dating from 1776 and retaining plenty of original charm and features. Enjoy relaxing in the attractive garden or in front of the warming wood burner stove in the lounge. The cottage is in an ideal location for exploring both the North Kent coast and nearby historic City of Canterbury.

Inside

The comfortable sitting room has leather sofas, a flat screen TV and large brick fireplace with wood burner stove. There is a dining suite seating four people plus a well equipped kitchen with washing machine.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The bedrooms are presented as one double which offers access to the single bedroom and second floor double room. There is also a ground floor shower room with basin and WC. 

Outside

The cottage has an enclosed lawn garden with patio area, barbecue and furniture plus off road parking for two cars.

Other Things to Note

One well behaved dog is welcome by prior arrangement. A cot is available for children and the rental charge includes bed linen and towels. This is a non-smoking property.

There is a fenced stream at the bottom of the garden so children and pets should be supervised.

Fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove are included in the rental price.

Around and About

The cottage is situated just north of Kent and within easy reach of Herne Bay on the North Kent coast. Local amenities including a shop are three miles away and there is a pub an eight minute walk away.

Availability

Short breaks may be available during off peak times, the winter period and as last minute stays within one week of arrival.
