This property has a security deposit of £250. In the heart of the rolling countryside of West Kent, dotted with footpaths, ponds and streams, sits this pretty little holiday home. Comfortable, cute and quirky, Quarter Cottage has been designed in a lovely farmhouse style, fitting perfectly with its idyllic rural surroundings.
The front door opens into the welcoming open-plan dining room and well-equipped kitchen, complete with a farmhouse table. Stairs lead up to the living quarters offering two armchairs, a TV with DVD player, a king-size zip-link bed under the eaves, and a smart, fresh en-suite bathroom. To add to the cosy feel there is underfloor heating in the kitchen/diner and the bathroom. Outside there is a small seating area, with a bistro table looking out over a small lake, a perfect spot to relax and unwind.
There are some lovely days out to explore nearby; within a short drive are the stunning gardens of Sissinghurst Castle, and in the other direction is the pretty market town of Tenterden - perfect for a day out browsing the independent shops. From here you can also take a steam train to Bodiam on the Kent and Sussex Railway! For a real day trip adventure, or to take a longer stay for business in this self catering cottage, Ashford is just 10 miles away with its international train station whisking you high-speed to London, Paris and beyond.
