With picturesque walks right on the doorstep, there is also a locally renowned pub and restaurant just a short stroll along a pretty country lane. This is the perfect spot to unwind and an excellent location for exploring Kent.

For those that wish to explore picturesque Kent further, the coast can be reached within a 20-minute drive, with the pretty coastal town of Hythe and Dymchurch with its beautiful stretch of sandy beach nearby. For a trip further afield, Ashford International train station is just 15 minutes’ drive away and will take you to London in under 40 minutes, or why not go to France for the day on one of the many daily ferry services from Dover? Beach 9 miles. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Was a lovely clean cottage . Perfect location . So peaceful and quiet . Would definitely go again . Only down side was lack of storage for t shirts. Underwear etc Would greatly benefit from a set of drawers. Probably fit a small set in lunge area in front of tv. And maybe a deep saucepan for cooking chilli's or bolognaise type dishes .

We absolutely loved our stay at jemmett lodge and were extremely sad to leave, beautiful and peaceful location. 10-15 minutes to supermarkets, restaurants and cafesThe place itself was spotless and very tastefully decorated with an aircon unit in the front room plus a little fan on each bedside table made it very welcoming. Nice area to sit outside and even a bbq.There was a washing line but no washing machine not sure if that was an option to add on? As it was very hot would of been nice to wash a few things during the week. My partner and i cannot recommend enough we did 3 wildlife parks and the battle of Britain memorial and with so much more to do we are very tempted to come back!!

Jemmett Lodge was a lovely cottage. Well maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything you need in a small cottage for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Plus the air conditioning was a great relief during the heatwave whilst we were there. A perfect central location for exploring all of Kent.
