Idyllically situated on a working farm with beautiful, far reaching views over the fields beyond, Jemmett Lodge has been beautifully furnished, and offers a peaceful holiday home. With picturesque walks right on the doorstep, there is also a locally renowned pub and restaurant just a short stroll along a pretty country lane. This is the perfect spot to unwind and an excellent location for exploring Kent.
Overlooking the large lawned garden, the cottage offers an abundance of outside space to enjoy during the warmer months, whilst inside a well-appointed, open plan living space has been equipped and furnished with your comfort in mind. With views of the garden and fields beyond, the double bedroom with its stylish padded headboard offers a comfortable space to rest your head after a day of exploring.
For those that wish to explore picturesque Kent further, the coast can be reached within a 20-minute drive, with the pretty coastal town of Hythe and Dymchurch with its beautiful stretch of sandy beach nearby. For a trip further afield, Ashford International train station is just 15 minutes’ drive away and will take you to London in under 40 minutes, or why not go to France for the day on one of the many daily ferry services from Dover? Beach 9 miles. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

We had a lovely relaxed stay at Jemmett lodge. The cottage was clean and very comfortable, and surrounded by fields. The local shop was just a short distance away and 2 nice pubs for eating. The hosts were around for anything we needed, but not intrusive. Would definitely recommend for a lovely break.

Lovely property, well equipped even has air con which came in useful in 37 degree heat last week. Owner was very accommodating offered to let me use their washing machine as we were staying two weeks. Ideal getaway for two. Have been before so knew it would not disappoint.
