About this Holiday Cottage

Dormestone House is a beautiful Grade II listed designer home offering luxurious accommodation for family groups visiting the Kent countryside. Offering uninterrupted views from almost every window, this elegant property offers spacious living space in three reception room, large outdoor space with leisure facilities, a state of the art kitchen and billiard room with games. The family dog is also welcome and there are plenty of country walks to experience nearby.

Inside

The living accommodation includes a split level sitting room and snug which has seating for up to ten guests. This room also has an open fire, large TV, DVD player and iPod dock. There is a further reading room with sofa seating for four to six guests and French doors into the garden. The luxury kitchen/ conservatory is fitted with state of the art appliances, an island work top, butler sink, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer and range cooker. A washing machine and dryer can be found in the boot room. The dining table seats ten and there are double doors which lead out into the pool area plus double aspect windows. 

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The bedrooms are arranged as one double bedroom with king-size bed and ensuite shower room, a family room with two single beds and a set of bunk beds for two children, double bedroom with five foot double bed and a final twin room. There is also a family bathroom with slipper bath and hand held shower plus a ground floor shower room/ boot room. 

Outside

Extended enclosed gardens, a patio terrace with an array of seating areas, a fire pit and designated parking for up to eight cars.

Other Things to Note

Dressing gowns and slippers are provided for all rooms for up to eight adults. An exclusive luxury hamper is supplied for your arrival.

One to two well behaved pets are welcome with a bowl and basket provided. Please note that pets must be limited to the ground floor rooms and not permitted on furniture. An additional charge of £20 per pet per week applies.

A selection of wellies of a variety of sizes are provided for our guests use.

The cottage is set just north of Ashford and within easy reach of the M20 motorway. Leeds Castle, Maidstone and the beautiful North Downs can all also be found closeby.
