Little Mainards sits down a quiet country lane with birdsong for company and is within easy reach of Tenterden, known locally as The Jewel of the Weald.  It has a welcoming and tastefully furnished interior and the sitting room has far reaching views from the large picture window and French doors from the dining room open onto the patio and garden, perfect for outside eating.  There is also a large unfenced pond which is lovely to wander around and enjoy the wonders of nature. Nearby are the shops, cafes and bars of Tenterden, the award winning Chapel Down vineyard in Small Hythe which boosts a fabulous restaurant and shop where you can indulge in some wine tasting.  Hop on the Kent and Sussex Stream Railway and visit Bodiam Castle, take a drive to Rye or meander along the River Rother on a boat trip from Northiam.  If you enjoy visiting gardens, ancient castles and National Trust properties then this is the perfect location for you.
