The Mews offers family friendly accommodation with an abundance of health and leisure activities, all set in the magnificent grounds of a country hotel estate. A wonderful opportunity for a luxury getaway in Kent, and the family dog can come too.

Two the Mews is a selection of 9 two-bedded cottages surrounded by 3000 acres of formal gardens and landscaped countryside, and the most fabulous selection of health and leisure facilities. These self-catering cottages are perfect for relaxing holidays, short breaks and spa weekends. See below for the full list of all the amazing activities on offer.

Each cottage is completely self-contained, and offers full self-catering facilities, with a complimentary welcoming hamper for you to enjoy. The bedrooms provide hotel style luxury with towelling robes and slippers, and luxury toiletries.

The manor house hotel in the grounds is open for all guests to enjoy and is a spectacular building dating back to the Norman Conquest, with carved panelled rooms, a massive baronial stone fireplace and a huge welcoming log fire.

For those wanting some time away from the kitchen the Manor Restaurant can be booked for breakfast, lunch, afternoon teas and dinner and is a lovely quiet and tranquil atmosphere. For a more information dining experience, the Pavilion Restaurant also offers meals and is very family friendly, with a lovely sunny terrace overlooking the grounds.

Guests staying at the Mews cottages can also enjoy a superb calendar of events that take place throughout the year from summer theatre in the hotel courtyard, to jazz barbecues on the lawn, opera nights and a Christmas masquerade ball.

Accommodation

Two the Mews: 9 two bedroomed cottages lovingly restored from the original Victorian stable block within the grounds of the stunning 3000 acre country hotel estate. 
Some cottages sleep 4 and some sleep 3, please see below for more information. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, with overhead shower. Towelling robes, slippers, towels and toiletries are all provided.
The kitchens are equipped with ceramic hob, microwave oven, fridge with ice box, an iron and ironing board.
Ample parking, 3000 acres of formal communal gardens, use of shared outdoor heated pool, indoor pool and many other leisure facilities. All cottages have a TV and DVD player, wifi and lockable safe.
Clover Cottage (sleeps 3)

A two storey cottage with an enclosed garden with a gate which opens out on to the pathway leading to the heated outdoor swimming pool. 

Accommodation: An open plan living, dining, kitchen area on the ground floor, and a single bedroom with ensuite bathroom. On the first floor the large double bedroom can be made up as a double or twin on request.
Daisy Cottage (sleeps 3)

This cottage has a small enclosed garden with a gate which opens out on to the pathway leading to the outdoor swimming pool. The cottage has views over the pool and further to the lovely gardens and the Manor House.

Accommodation: An open plan living, dining, kitchen area on the ground floor, and a single bedroom with ensuite bathroom. On the first floor the large double bedroom can be made up as a double or twin on request.
Bluebell Cottage (sleeps 4)

A spacious ground floor cottage with views to the outdoor swimming pool, the putting green, the gardens and the Manor House. There is a small enclosed garden.

Accommodation: A large open plan living, dining, kitchen area, a separate cloakroom, and two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
Gardenia Cottage (sleeps 4)

A two storey cottage, with views stretching over the golf course, to the Downs.

Accommodation: An open plan living, dining, kitchen area on the ground floor, with a separate cloakroom. French doors from the sitting room lead on to a small gated garden with access to a pathway. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, and one can be made into a twin room on request.
Ivy Cottage (sleeps 4)

A two storey cottage, with views of the courtyard gardens.

Accommodation: A spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen area on the ground floor, with a separate cloakroom. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms. This cottage has no outside space.
Jasmine Cottage (sleeps 4)

A two storey cottage, with views of the courtyard gardens.

Accommodation: A spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen area on the ground floor, with a separate cloakroom. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms. This cottage has no outside space.
Nut Tree Cottage (sleeps 4)

A two storey cottage, with its own enclosed gated garden overlooking the golf course and with far reaching views of the Downs.

Accommodation: An open plan living, dining, kitchen area on the ground floor, with a separate cloakroom.  On the first floor there are two double bedrooms.
Violet Cottage (sleeps 4)

A single storey cottage with a small shared outside garden.

Accommodation: All rooms are on the ground floor, with a sitting room and kitchen, and two double bedrooms, both of which can be made into twins on request.

 

Willow Cottage (sleeps 4)

A single storey cottage with French doors leading on to a small partially walled shared garden with views over the Kent countryside.

Accommodation: This cottage is wheelchair friendly, with a spacious entrance and a specially adapted kitchen area. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite wet room and the other has an additional shower unit. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor.
