The town has wonderful narrow streets and a delightful range of shops and inns. An essential attraction to visit is Henry viii's castle and amongst the many other activities that can be enjoyed are cycling and walking along the coastal path and a walk across to the nearby Tennyson Down. Watersports enthusiasts should head to the beaches at Colwell and Totland Bays. Further afield, the towns of Newport and Ryde are well worth visiting.Yarmouth suits all tastes and is a perfect base.

Apartment needs some care and could be wonderful with some attention. The price was fair given condition - we would certainly pay more if improved. Furniture is old and worn. The shower is more of a dribble and the fridge and freezer need replacing

5mins drive from Yarmouth ferry. Doors opening on balcony listening to the sea was amazing. Furniture comfy. All bedding new and clean. No velux blinds to block out morning sun. Very bright by 6am. Velux window hinges and frames extremely covered with cobwebs, dead insects and dust. Opening then resulted in debris falling. Situated on edge of Fort Victoria Country Park which has attractions worthy of looking around and watching sunset.
