Solent Cottage is set in the coastal town of Yarmouth just a few hundred yards from the sea. This smart holiday home is Grade ll listed dating back to the 1700s. The town, famed for it sailing and fishing history, still retains its olde worlde charm, with cobbled lanes, inns, restaurants, shops, church, promenade and pier. The island has a good bus network and numerous walking and cycling routes and tourist parking permits can be purchased using PayByPhone from the council. Guests can walk from the ferry terminus to the property. Shop and pub 200 yards.

Excellent location in quiet (except for Saturday night!) town.House was well equipped and comfortable.Some very stylish interior decoration touchesLack of car parking was a slight inconvenience but manageableA couple of small issues- why not provide him bags? (especially as we were asked to take out the previous week's rubbish for collection)There was no "welcome pack"- why not leave some milk in the fridge, with a packet of biscuits. Little things make a difference

Great cottage ,,,,perfect for exploring west wight Yarmouth is a charming town ,,great food ,,we loved the blue crab fish and chips and dinner at the the Wheatsheaf pub ,,,lovely creative shops ,,,,,,great cafes ,,,and a wonderful grocer store,,,Harvey’sWalks galore Amazing bus service The owner of the cottage is very responsive to any issues that occur
