Neither shower head holder is secure, shower head moves about when in use. One screw missing in front door key hole.

Maltings Cottage was beautifully presented, like hotel accommodation, clean and comfortable. We haven’t given it 5 stars because various items, normally provided in self catering accommodation were lacking e.g washing up liquid, salt, pepper , milk and a few tea bags on arrival. We came by public transport so it was inconvenient to have to buy everything as soon as we arrived, especially as the shops are some distance away. Otherwise this was a very good holiday.

As two cyclists, we really appreciated the location, which was perfect for exploring the West Wight area. This was the first place we've ever stayed where there were proper bike bars in the back garden, though. Brilliant! Easy to park the car and a nice quiet area. A well equipped little house with plenty of kitchen gear, comfortable beds, and hot water. The shower could do with some attention - the shower head is unstable. We could also have done with some instructions on using the hob and oven - although when we phoned for help, our problem was solved straight away. Many thanks!
