No smoking.. The Farriers, a former farm building, is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage offers cosy and comfortable accommodation alongside The Dairy (ref UK39385). The Farriers is full of character boasting beautiful hand made features and tasteful décor throughout. On entering the property to your right along the corridor you’ll find the well-equipped kitchen, living and dining area. This space is the perfect communal area in which to unwind after a busy day exploring everything the island has to offer. The French doors lead you out to a private spacious garden that overlooks the farms fields, it’s a view not be missed! The Farriers has one shower room with a walk-in shower, a sink with a handmade vanity unit for storage and a heated towel rail. The master bedroom sleeps two guests in a kingsize bed and has plenty of storage in a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. The second bedroom sleeps an additional guests with a full size single bed. The room has plenty of storage in a large wardrobe with two drawers underneath.
The location is perfect for cyclists, walkers, ramblers, runners and families and there is private access onto the old railway line from the farm. The track is part of the Red Squirrel Trail, a 32-mile trail around the island countryside. As well as this the old railway line has many footpaths and bridleways branching off it taking you on miles of off road routes. You really can get the best of both worlds here with the beach just a 5-minute drive away if you fancy a change of scenery. The farm is also on a bus route for guests staying without a car meaning you don’t miss out on a thing!

Checked out of the Farriers after a lovely week stay! Abbie was fantastic in the lead up to the holiday, we did not need to contact her whilst there but she was around some days if we had any issues (we didn't).The location is quiet with lots of wild birds and beautiful horses. The garden was fantastic for my 4 year old. The actual accommodation itself was perfect size for us, well presented, clean and had everything we needed. Right on the red squirrel trial so evening walks were a nightly thing for us! Our neighbours were fantastic.Only suggestion would be if able to place some bug nets over the windows as the horse flies were a little bit much! However, that is also part of the parcel due to the location. 5* would recommend and definitely will be booking for next year.

A superb holiday cottage! Could not fault it, absolutely lovely accommodation, well decorated and furnished. Very comfortable in all departments. Would recommendhighly and definitely return. Owners were very welcoming and friendly.
