This detached property is situated just a short distance above the picturesque Steephill Cove, which lies just south west of the Victorian seaside town of Ventnor.  Steephill is a traditional, unspoilt fishing cove with a sand and shingle beach, nestled between rocky cliffs and smugglers’ coves.  The bay has no road access, which makes it a unique hidden gem.  Find your way down the pathways and you can dine on the freshest crab and lobster, or simply sit back and relax on a deckchair on the beach.  The seaside town of Ventnor is just over a mile away from Steephill Lodge, and here you will find a number of lovely tea shops, pubs and restaurants dotted along the Esplanade, including the well-known Spyglass Inn.  There are also . . .
