As you step inside, you’ll immediately feel the warmth of underfloor heating, ensuring a cosy and comfortable stay throughout the year.
The layout of this remarkable holiday home is unique, with the living areas positioned on the first floor to take full advantage of the views that surround the property. The spacious living/dining room is a highlight of the house, featuring vaulted, beamed ceilings that add a touch of rustic charm. Here, you’ll find a state-of-the-art media centre complete with a magnificent 65" Smart TV, perfect for those evenings when you want to watch your favourite shows or movies. Also in the living room, bi-folding doors lead to the garden, set across two levels. The lower level boasts a delightful decking area, ideal for al fresco dining or enjoying a morning coffee amidst the serene surroundings. On the upper level, a lawned area offers a peaceful oasis where you can bask in the tranquillity of nature. On the ground floor, you’ll find four generously sized bedrooms, each designed to ensure a peaceful night’s sleep. Property 4 will make the perfect base for the beach and the cosmopolitan town of Ventnor, which is just a 5-minute drive away. Ventnor’s popular shingle and sand beach is a firm favourite with all ages, where freshly caught fish of the day can be purchased at the marina. Fishing and boat trips around the coastline are available daily. There is a wide selection of great eateries, pubs and boutique-style individual shops within a short driving distance. Blackgang Chine is nearby, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, and within easy reach are the Needles and Alum Bay. Attractions include Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Isle of Wight Pearl, Dinosaur Isle, Donkey Sanctuary and Calbourne Water Mill, which has a 17th-century working watermill. Osborne House and Gardens, known for being Queen Victoria’s holiday residence, and Carisbrooke Castle are a short distance away. The sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes, and the popular resorts and Shanklin and Sandown are nearby. An amazing property with everything there that you could ever need (and more). Spotlessly clean, the owners were very friendly and helpful without being in your face (so to speak) The starter tray of essentials and treats were a very welcome addition and we all had the absolute best stay. Even the communal bin cupdoard was top notch with every kind of cleaning product you might need for a bin or human affected by escaping bin-juice (!)My only slight comment would be that Barn 4 sleeps up to 8 people and the parking for that barn is a little tight for 3 cars, let alone 4. Guests in a neighbouring barn allowed one of our cars to park in their designated spaces so it was no real problem and would not stop us going back. You can get 4 cars on there at a push but there is no room for intricate 3 point turns (I mamanged a 28 point turn!) and you have to be organised with planning who goes out first and in which car. If we had all been coming from the same area we would have lift shared but this was not possible for us this time.Having said that, we will absolutely be back. Peace and quiet, amazing views and high quality accomodation on our favourite part of the UK: what's not to like?

A wonderful holiday home. It has everything you could possibly need for a restful stay. The kitchen is superb. The main living area light and airy. All rooms and bathrooms finished to a very high quality. The views from the upper Garden are fabulous, with an excellent seating area. There are honestly not enough superlatives to describe Property 4. It's amazing!
