A quiet retreat, this bijoux, detached cottage is close to the Stenbury and Worsley walking trails, yet only 1 mile from Ventnor town and Steephill Cove with restaurants and the nearest beaches. With a view of the Worsley Monument, its downland/village position offers easy access to lots of attractions. Locally you will find the island’s Donkey Sanctuary and Appuldurcombe House with its falconry centre, and the gardens of which were landscaped by Capability Brown. Close by is the village of Godshill with its own model village, along with Blackgang Chine (the oldest theme park in the UK), Ventnor Botanic Garden, Carisbrooke Castle, Robin Hill, Dinosaur Isle - in fact locals always say everything is only 20 minutes’ away! Wroxall itself has a village pub, shop and post office and is situated on a bus route. Little Croxley is also perfectly situated for the major island music festivals, including the Isle of Wight festival and Ventnor Fringe. Beach 1 mile. Shop 200 yards, pub 300 yards, restaurant 1 mile.

Little Croxley was perfect for our three night. This was board only and perfect for our three night stay. Wroxall was in a good position good for getting around and visiting most of the IOWs attractions. The property had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable and the beds were great. We provided our own breakfast as there was a fridge in the kitchen. Lin & Chris were welcoming and helpful. We love our TV. We stayed for three nights but a bigger TV in the lounge and maybe one in the bedroom would have been an added luxury especially if one was staying for the whole week.
