Nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is one of just two secluded rural cabins enjoying stunning views across St Catherine’s Down. Set alongside National Trust land and surrounded by open countryside, it’s an idyllic retreat for anyone looking to escape the everyday and immerse themselves in nature.

Inside, the open-plan living space is bright and welcoming, with French doors opening onto the decking to make the most of the spectacular views. After a day exploring, relax beside the wood-burning stove or enjoy a cosy evening watching TV. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area provide everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The cabin offers a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom, making it ideal for couples, small families or friends. A modern shower room with a heated towel rail, Wi-Fi and electric heating throughout ensure a comfortable stay whatever the season.

Outside, the private decking is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, dine al fresco or simply sit back and admire the peaceful surroundings. The grassed garden area adds to the sense of space, while the rural setting provides opportunities to spot local wildlife, including red squirrels, badgers and, if you’re fortunate, the resident barn owls.

From the doorstep, a network of scenic footpaths and cycle routes lead across St Catherine’s Down and towards the historic Hoy Monument, making this an excellent base for walkers and cyclists. Despite its wonderfully secluded setting, the island’s beautiful beaches are only a short drive away, offering the best of both coast and countryside.

Guests have full use of the cabin, private decking and garden area, along with free parking. Discounted Red Funnel ferry crossings are available through the owner, and towels and tea towels are provided.
