You can follow a pretty footpath from the cottage to Godshill (1.5 miles), a thatched-roof village with tons of provincial charm.

This single-storey cottage allows your dog to rest peacefully with their entire pack just a few steps away. Enter via the conservatory and give muddy paws and fur a wipe-down before heading inside. The kitchen/diner and the cosy lounge are separate from one another, allowing some guests to curl up with the freeview TV on and a dog at their feet whilst others can cook, chat, or get stuck into a board game at the table. Bring everyone together to spend time outdoors, enjoying the large, enclosed space that’s shared with neighbouring properties for pets to run around. Back inside, two inviting bedrooms await you, a spacious king-size with countryside views of the adjacent fields, and a light and airy twin. Completing this property is the shower room with WC.

Nearby Godshill really is a serene and picturesque holiday location, excellent for walking around, and stopping off in a tearoom or pub for a refreshment. The village’s beloved attraction, the Model Village, is pet-friendly for well-behaved doggos on short leads. A little further away, visit the coastal town of Shanklin (5.5 miles). This typical Victorian seaside resort boasts a rich history and is famously home to the poet, Keats. It has a beautiful beach with a dog-friendly zone close to Shanklin Chine. Many of the eateries that line the beach are also enthusiastic about inviting pets to come and visit.
