The location is generally well-received for its amazing views and proximity to local transport. However, some guests mention the steep walk to the town and beach, which could be a consideration for those with mobility concerns.
Guests find the property comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere and a warm welcome. However, there are mixed reviews about the bed comfort and the low ceiling in the bathroom, which affects the overall comfort score.
The facilities receive mixed feedback. While some guests are satisfied with what is provided, others point out the lack of a conventional oven, limited cooking facilities, and challenges with the shower. The property is well-liked for its deck and views, but the maintenance of certain amenities is noted as an area for improvement.
Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful extras provided by the hosts, such as welcome chocolates, port, and other items to enhance the stay. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed.

we were not intending to do much cooking but it would have been difficult to do so. There was only 2 mugs supplied. No dishwasher or washing machine. The bath was very awkward to access which you had to do to take a shower..The property is not near any basic food shops only a fish shop at the top of the road. We were aware there were steps but not so many. Parking was quite difficult for me as on a slope. I felt it was quite expensive for what it was and having to strip your bed etc.

Every facility one could want and the owners were really friendly and helpful. The view over the Channel was great and just sitting out on deck in the evening sunshine with a drink, to watch the ships go by, was a pleasure in itself. One or two comments: Not suitable for wheelchair users as there are a lot of steps. The parking area is tight and turning out onto the road needs special care. The TV controls were quite complicated ! Otherwise everything great ! Thank you for wonderful holiday.

A warm welcome from the owners was appreciated as was the small touch of a vase of fresh roses in the kitchen, the terrace was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view as well . Overall a perfect base to explore the Isle of Wight.
