This comfortable cottage-style accommodation is located at a horse-riding school in the centre of the island. It’s in a rural spot 1 mile from the nearest pub and 2 miles from the centre of Newport, the island’s main town. You’ll find plenty to do on the 50-acre site, with a restaurant/bar, a children’s play area and farm animals to keep you entertained. This holiday home has space for six over three bedrooms, so would suit a large family or a group of friends.

Spacious open-plan living is offered at this refurbished property, with a roomy modern kitchen on one side and relaxation space on the other. Sink into the huge corner sofa and watch something on the Smart TV together, and enjoy leisurely family meals at the circular dining table. The floors throughout are made from lovely polished wood. Up the stairs, you’ll find the three bedrooms plus a family bathroom where you can take a bath after a long day out exploring. You’ll also have access to a shared garden out the front of the cottage.

When it’s time to head out exploring, Newport offers plenty of shops and restaurants as well as a golf course 3 miles away. A trip to Carisbrooke Castle (3 miles) makes a fantastic family day out, or you can go walking or cycling in the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (3 miles). The seaside resorts of Ryde and Sandown (5 and 7.5 miles) are a huge draw for their sandy beaches and holiday atmospheres.
