You’ll be two miles from Newport, the island’s principal town, and surrounded by lovely countryside you can explore on foot or by bike. There are plenty of on-site facilities to keep you occupied, including a horse-riding school, a bar/restaurant and a play area. Children especially will love meeting the farm animals that live in the paddocks surrounding the property. The accommodation has space for seven people over four bedrooms, so will suit a large family or a group of friends holidaying together.

You’ll find a pub 1 mile away and plenty of shops in Newport. Walkers and cyclists will be keen to explore the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which starts 3 miles away, just the other side of Newport. A visit to Carisbrooke Castle (3 miles) is a great bet for history lovers, while golfers will make a beeline for the scenic course just south of Newport. For a day out by the sea, head to Ryde (5 miles) or Sandown (7.5 miles) where you’ll find long sandy beaches for swimming, picnicking and partaking in water sports like kayaking and kite surfing.
