The mews-style property is accessed via a pretty archway, which leads you to a courtyard where all the holiday cottages are located. Inside, there’s a cosy open-plan living area with a corner sofa for kicking back after a busy day out. You’ll also have a table and chairs for tucking into meals together, and there are French doors leading out to your private garden from here. The kitchen has an attractive black-and-white colour scheme, and throughout the dwelling you’ll notice well-chosen artwork on the walls for a welcoming feel.

When it’s time to discover the island, while away a morning wandering around Newport (2 miles) then perhaps enjoy some scenic golf at the local course (3 miles). An afternoon at the medieval Carisbrooke Castle (3 miles) will delight history lovers, while any children will be keen to visit the popular Blackgang Chine theme park (10.5 miles). Ready for a day by the sea? You won’t need to go far, with Ryde 5 miles to the east, plus the sandy beach of Sandown 7.5 miles south. Ventnor, another excellent seaside resort, is also just 10.5 miles away.
