The house was in a great location, our dog loved the garden. However there were quite a few very niggly things. The bed was very uncomfortable. The whole place could do with a good clean and dust. There were many unfinished jobs around the house...skirting and window ledge in en suite. The house is definitely not for the elderly, so many steps...step down to the en suite, kitchen, downstairs bathroom and several steps down to the garden. Parking was a nightmare, everyday was a case of cross fingers we get a spot near the house to park.

With a nice location, large bedrooms and good garden at the back this was good value. However, the house was quite dusty, and the vacuum cleaner provided wasn’t good enough to deal with the pet hair. Parking is ok, but you may have to park a few hundred meters from the house depending on time of day. There is space to pull in and unload outside the house.

We had a wonderful stay at Skippers Rest. The cottage is in a great location close to everything needed. Sophie was always on hand to contact if needed and we will definitely return.
