    ...just returned from a short break at the property and have loved every minute of it. The property is located within the centre of Cowes and has the added bonus of a garage as restricted parking applies in the area. (We managed to get a Toyota Prius inside). The property has been finished to the highest standards and the owner provides extras such as tea, coffee pods and milk to help you relax after the journey. The house is just a two minute walk from the ferry port and all the unique shops and boutiques Cowes has to offer. The selection of restaurants, cafes and bars is great ensuring there is something to suit all tastes and budgets. We had a lovely meal in the Fountain Inn at lunchtime on arrival and spent the evening listening to live music in the Anchor Inn. The island is easy to explore from Cowes as the main route takes you into Newport so you can go off in all directions. The family loved all the unique crafts at Afferton Barns (you can even get your name written on a grain of rice!). Came away from the garlic farm with many goodies and enjoyed browsing around Shanklin Old Town, Sandown and Ryde planning what we would do when we return in the future. All in all a great break in a very well equipped property which offers a superb location, high quality finish and lots of added extras making it a real home from home.
