This red brick Victorian property forms part of an historic conservation area at the heart of Winchester, with the mainline train station just 300 yards. Lovingly fitted and furnished and with a number of original features, it provides a great opportunity to experience this cathedral city. The historic city of Winchester, ancient capital of England under Alfred the Great, offers an array on entertainment on your doorstep. You could easily spend days just exploring this famous city s heritage, from King Arthur s round table in the Great Hall of the Old Castle or follow the heritage trail and enjoy the riverside walks along the Itchen. Upon entering this cottage you are in the cosy, characterful lounge complete with open fire, smart TV and Bluetooth speakers to enjoy your music on a relaxing evening in. Moving back through the property you will find the spacious dining room perfect for a heart breakfast before heading out for the day. Just off the dining room is the fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. The washing machine is located in the basement (restricted head room). Heading up the cottage style stairs you will find a peaceful king size bedroom and to the rear a single room with additional pull out trundle bed (available on request). There is a shared shower room with shower and WC. From the dining room you will find the back door leading out to the enclosed courtyard with a decked area perfect for BBQ s and garden furniture to relax outside and enjoy the sun. A parking permit is provided for local on street parking, there is no parking directly outside the property. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 single (with additional pull out trundle bed available on request). 1 shower room with shower and WC.
