The space comes with a compact, yet well-equipped kitchen, containing a range of essentials so that you can whip up a feast in the evenings or prepare a picnic to take out with you on the next day’s adventure. Once the fire has died down, look forward to catching your rest by snuggling under the crisp white sheets of the double bed, resting on the first floor of the cottage, which contains good wardrobe space to keep your things. Each morning, pull open the curtains to admire the countryside views before refreshing within the shower room and preparing for the exciting day ahead. Take your morning brew out to the garden area, promising picturesque views of your surroundings and look forward to returning during a balmy evening to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining. However, for the evenings where you do not feel like cooking, a stone’s throw away is The Thomas Lord, a great pub serving food or head slightly further afield to one of the many other pubs in the Meon Valley; the village also has a shop for picking up any last-minute essentials and also a artisan butcher for any treats that you may fancy. Those wishing the explore the surrounding area further can choose to walk the disused Meon Valley railway, which stretches for 10 miles from Knowle to West Meon for some breath-taking scenery, or find more opportunities for walking on the South Downs Way, in addition to the rest of the National Park, awaiting to be explored.
