Will stay again. It was cold winter weather so lots more logs please. No information makes things like working the heating more difficult. Fire lighters and kindling please. Kitchen utensils were poor. No spatula to cook eggs for example. Shower fantastic. Heating excellent. Lovely very rural location. So instructions, plenty for the fire and sort the utensils please. Didnât ruin the holiday but would make a significant difference to a lovely cottage.

Peaceful and quiet. But there were to many things not right to make it a great stay. Oven did not work properly. Electric kept tripping when oven used. Oven knob obviously reattached upside down. We could only use the hob for cooking. Shower room had an air lock and reached every time it was used. Front door could not be locked from the inside. No curtain for glass door in living room. Constant flies within snug room. No utensils for open fire. It is a shame the above had obviously not been attended to previously. It would have made our stay much more enjoyable. Pub food was great at both east and west Meon. Dogs loved the local walks.

It is an almost magical place. There are so many walks if you are taking dogs and several pubs nearby who are so friendly and pubs which take dogs also. The food that is served in the Ye Olde George in East Meon and also food in The Thomas Lord in West Meon are both excellent with extremely friendly Landlords. The Cottage has everything which is needed for stay. The wildlife is incredible, pheasant, deer, hare, rabbits and foxes. We have stayed in many cottages on holiday but nothing has been as exceptional as this. We were so sad to leave and will definitely be booking again.
