There was cobwebs with flies in in three rooms, hair in the shower tray, thick dust of cooker hood with a hand print in it, children’s hand prints on the windows, hand prints and a lipstick kiss mark on the front door. The washing machine was dirty the tumble dryer hardly worked, every plate in the cupboard had food on it. The hand soap dispenser was so dirty I would not even move it let alone use it. There was dirt in the bath, three of the windows were cracked and one had two holes in it. The other hand soaps were watered down so ineffective. There was a plastic toy under the rug and sweet wrappers behind the tv unit. The skirting board behind the bedside table had a thick layer of dirt and dust. The fan was thick with dust. So this was definitely not Covid standards of clean or any standards. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable. I did report this and they offered to re clean however I had already done so and was working nights so there was not opportunity to do so also if they could not clean properly in the first place what hope was there for it second time around.

.. A fantastic loft conversion with an open space lounge/kitchen area above a pub! What more could you want?! We stayed for New Year as 2 of the couples in the party had children and so we needed a space for the children and for us all to gather together to celebrate but also wanted the experience of a pub for drinks and celebrations. The other couples stayed in rooms just off the courtyard through the pub. We were able to order breakfast and book tables for lunch/dinner at the pub if we wanted but had our own space to cook as well. Layout of the rooms was great and the cubby hole entrance to the loft room was loved by my 5 year old daughter! Rooms had en-suites as well as a family bathroom. U shaped sofa was immense and perfect for our group! Only negative feedback would be that the dishwasher wasn't working properly so the kitchenware wasn't as clean as we would've liked, even on arrival, and we ended up having to wash a lot of it again by hand which wasn't ideal. Also, the two en-suite toilets got backed up quite a few times which is a worry.
