About this Holiday Cottage

Lovingly converted and furnished to the highest standards throughout, Pippins is a charming one bedroom cottage with plenty of original features and home from home touches. The property offers quality accommodation for couples and has been awarded by Visit England a Gold with 4 Stars for the last 4 years.   We also have a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for 2017.

Inside

Guests can enjoy relaxing in the delightful lounge with oak furniture, 32" Panasonic LCD TV, a DVD player and iPod dock/ radio. There is also plenty of books, games, tourist information and maps provided. Two steps lead up into the kitchen which is well equipped with a fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, washer dryer, microwave and electric oven. This room is very light with dual aspect windows and there is a door which leads out into the private courtyard garden with roses. 

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The bedroom offers access into the pretty garden and is furnished with a super king-size (six foot) pocket sprung double bed which can be arranged as two singles if preferred. There is also a small LCD TV and ensuite bathroom with overhead shower.

Outside

The cottage sits in attractive grounds with a patio seating area, umbrella, Weber charcoal barbecue, bike storage and plenty of car parking. 

Other Things to Note

A travel cot and high chair are available for a child under two years old. The rental price includes central heating, hot water, linen, towels, soaps, detergents, kitchen roll, Radio Times and a welcome tray. Beds are made up with 100% cotton sheets. 

Availability

The cottage is available for short breaks including two night stays from a Friday or Saturday, three night stays from a Friday and four night stays from a Monday. Please note that we do not accept pets.

Around and About

The cottage is set at Sunnymead Farm on the edge of Ashdown Forest. The surrounding area is ideal for both walkers and cyclists with the amenities of both Uckfield and Crowborough within easy reach. Our farm is also a haven for wildlife with deer, badgers, wild birds, owls, kingfishers, butterflies and moths to spot. A good pub serving food can also be found a short walk away.
