Situated just an hour from London by train (a little further in the car), this lovely apartment is not far from The Ashdown Forest. For those who love walking and enjoying the outside, the stunning Ashdown Forest with miles of beautiful countryside is such a bonus and a short drive away. For those who love horse riding, there are local stables which can organise riding too.

Gatwick and London are both under an hour by train, making the apartment an ideal base for exploring Kent, Sussex and beyond.

Sitting room with sofa bed (sleeps 2) Gas fire. TV/DVD, Freeview TV (please note: whoever sleeps on the sofa bed has to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom – therefore, more ideally suited for families)

Kitchen, small, well equipped includes fridge freezer, electric hob, single oven, combination microwave and washer dryer.

Twin bedroom (sleeps 2),with en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower

Parking outside the property on the private drive or at the rear.

    location was good for our visit. A couple of negatives, one was the entrance, being at the rear of the building and not as shown at the front and in inadequately lite, the second that the flat above was lived in and the associated noises that come from an old and wooden squeaky floor/ceiling. The only other point was a notice in the property letting occupiers know that the place had to be left as found or a charge of 25 pounds could be paid for a cleaner. these sort of charges should be up-front and not hidden.
