The Old Borough Arms guest house in Rye is located in the famous and much photographed Mermaid Street which passes the house of Henry James the famous author. At The Old Borough we offer nine bedrooms which all have en-suite facilities and are equipped with all the main essentials and most importantly clean crisp bedding and towels. We provide double, twin/family and four poster bedrooms, tea/coffee making facilities and TV to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. A selection of drinks are available for guests staying with us from our well stocked bar in the reception area.

Here at the Old Borough Arms we are very proud of our breakfasts as we use locally sourced produce and suppliers wherever possible. Special diets and allergies can be catered for on request. We have travel cots and highchairs that can be provided at no charge, and we can cater for most requests such as Champagne and flowers. Rye has been voted in the top 10 of British destinations and has plenty to offer with the historic towns of Battle and Hastings within easy reach. Nearby you will find sandy beaches, many interesting shops, stylish antique centres, pubs and restaurants.
