The cottage is warm and spacious, very light and airy. Unfortunately we had extremely wet weather and we weren’t able to explore the grounds, but because there are windows all down one side you feel like you’re sitting outside anyway. It was so quiet and we heard and saw lots of birds. There’s so many places to visit nearby like the RSPB nature reserve at Dungeness, Rye, National Trust properties, Ashford Outlet and excellent eateries nearby. We would recommend this cottage as a lovely quiet & relaxing base for visiting the area.
