A further eight minute walk will bring you to Hastings Old Town which boasts an impressive array of independent cafes restaurants and shops the perfect way to while away an afternoon after a morning spent relaxing in the tranquil apartment. Located on the second and third floors of this stunning Victorian townhouse there is a WC on a half landing before you reach the kitchen at the top of the stairs. This is a spacious room filled with plenty of natural light and has a breakfast table and blackboard for notes and reminders during your stay. In the kitchen you will also find an electric double oven with a grill gas hob and extractor dishwasher washer/dryer and microwave. The lounge is a warm and inviting space with hardwood floors comfortable sofas large ottoman and a feature period fireplace plenty of room to snuggle around the TV and choose from the large selection of DVDs. The dining table is positioned to the left of the room and enjoys views of the historical six-acre Markwick Gardens. On the half landing there is a desk area for quiet reading and then upstairs the bright and airy master bedroom features a king-size wrought iron bedstead and sea views through the two beautiful arched windows. Next door the second bedroom is ideal for children with twin beds and shares the spectacular sea view through a further arched window. The bedrooms share a spacious bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower and WC. Guests are encouraged to make use of Markwick Gardens a beautiful private communal square located opposite the property and soak up its history which dates back to the 1860 s.
