This pretty Georgian cottage makes the perfect place for a seaside break. Eastbourne shingle beach is just a short walk from the property as is the Redoubt Fortress previously an important defence against invasion but now a wonderful family attraction. A fantastic water sports centre at this end of the beach offers visitors the chance to try their hand at paddle boarding kayaking powerboating and even raft building. The town centre has a wide range of shops an interesting lifeboat museum and the wonderfully restored Victorian pier which offers a range of food outlets and evening entertainment venues. Nearby Princes Park is a fun place to spend an afternoon with its boating lake formal gardens play areas a splashpad and tennis courts. On arrival at this stylish cottage guests are welcomed into a small hallway with space for dropping off coats and shoes and then through into the wonderfully light and airy lounge with patio doors out to the garden and two comfy sofas perfect for snuggling up on in front of the wood burner and catching up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV or watch a film on the Blu ray player. Across the hallway is the kitchen/diner where guests will find a cosy dining area with seating for four. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher/dryer coffee machine and washing machine. Character steep wooden turned stairs lead to the first floor of the property where there are two bedrooms. The master bedroom is a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) where you can catch a glimpse of the sea whilst the second bedroom is a delightful double. The property is completed by a bathroom also on the first floor which offers a drencher-head shower over bath a hand-held shower heated towel rail and WC. Outside there is a patio garden to the side of the property with a charcoal BBQ and patio table and chairs perfect for listening to the waves crashing on the nearby beach at high tide and watching the sunset whilst enjoying al fresco meals and drinks. There is unrestricted roadside parking just outside the property subject to availability.
