About this property

The Chiltern Granary is a haven for lovers of walking and the countryside. Flanked by the rolling English Chiltern Hills the granary has been renovated to take advantage of the beautiful surrounding scenery whilst offering cosy serene living.

The setting of this granary is perfect for anyone wanting to get away from it all, but still be under an hour from London. To take advantage of the views the house is set upside down with a sitting room complete with French doors on the first floor and the luxury bedroom, well equipped kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor.

Venture into the large garden and you may be visited by the cows in the neighbouring fields, see kites flying overhead and find the great addition of an acrtic cabin!

The arctic cabin is an amazing experience, light a fire or BBQ in the centre and hang out together or even pop the beds up and sleep out. It is a very posh way of camping!

The Chiltern rambling path runs past the end of the garden making it perfect to take advantage of the panoramic views, ancient beech woods and rolling farmland. Walking down this path for a mile you will come across the cute village of West Wycombe offering a public house, shops and the tourist attraction of Hellfire Caves. The Chiltern Granary can be perfect for couples or groups looking for something different, quirky and fun!

This property well suited our needs on this occasion. It was compact but then we knew that before booking and the property configuration suited out needs well as a couple travelling with 2 under 10's.The property was easy to find and was available at the stated time. The property was very clean and everything worked and we were comfortable with the standard of fit and finish. The outside space was excellent - our children loved the visits from the local cows - and the artic cabin was an interesting experience.
