We had a lovely time at The Lodge and we're looking to book again next year and will take the dog. We love cycling in the New Forest, have done it a few times but there are lots of lovely dog walks so we are going to do that next time. The Lodge was just perfect to relax in after a long day of cycling, especially the hot tub!!

The lodge was cozy, was a bit dark for us, needed lights on in the day. If youhave a dog that can jump then its probably not for you as garden not totally secure at side of lodge. Hot tub was nice after a long day out and about exploring. The Shower was broke but the owners although away at the time got it sorted pronto so cant complain. Its on the Bournemouth internatioal flight path, but you soon get used to them going over. Had a nice time though.

Lovely cottage, well equipped. With pubs locally. All other amenities you need a car. Great if you have dogs. Well positioned to most places in the New Forest.
