Very nice cottage in an excellent location. We did lots of exploring round the area and would recommend Dunster, Lynmouth, Portlock Weir plus we did some excellent coastal and river walks in the area.

The oven & accompanying trays & cooking paraphernalia looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for years. Ingrained oil & grease. When we put the oven on the oily smoke hurt our eyes! Not great for a self catering holiday. Upstairs the carpets were full of clothes moths. We wrapped all our clothes in bin bags to protect them. We didn’t complain at the time as we were desperate to stay in the area due to family commitments, we still managed to have a nice holiday despite thes problems but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, sorry, such a shame. Maybe they need to the cleaner?
