Set in the picturesque town of Somerton, Cow Cottage is the perfect home for your holiday in the heart of Somerset.

The living room has a warming wood burner and there’s the opportunity for those family meals together at the dining table. Whip up a tasty treat in the kitchen or if you’d like to dine out (you are on holiday after all!) then wander into Somerton and try one of the public houses serving good food.

On the first floor there is an inviting double bedroom and family bathroom, and steep stairs lead to a second floor twin bedroom – a great hideaway for your kids.

Spend the morning wandering around the town and then head back to the cottage for a relaxing afternoon enjoying the suntrap walled courtyard garden. The courtyard area and patio furniture makes a great space in which to relax and there’s even a tap for washing off muddy boots and paws!

Enjoy walks around Somerton, and the South Somerset Cycle route which passes around the town. If you want to venture further, then Glastonbury isn’t far away with its magnificent Abbey or the awe-inspiring cathedral at Wells is a must-see. Cheddar Gorge and Caves and Fleet Air Arms Museum make for family days out that all ages will enjoy.
