Lovely holiday and nice facilities. Something you could possibly consider, is not selling cups of nuts. Unfortunately we had a very scary experience on our last evening where a family and there children was eating nuts and walking around touching all of the equipment, the bowling alley, the fruit machines, the pool table. We was playing in the golf simulator and they all came around and inside whilst eating the nuts. I suddenly realised and panicked as my 5 Yr old is anaphylaxis. We immediately had to leave. The staff was amazing and cleaned the area. But it was to late we needed to administer epipens. Earlier that afternoon we had a Sunday roast and the staff was amazing when I said about my sons allergies. But I didn’t realise there was tubs of nuts being sold in the bar and play area.

Unfortunately it was quite disappointing. There were lots of confusions and mistakes made by their staff (I.e made me wait over 2 hours to check in as they were arguing my reservation was cancelled), the power in the lodge went off twice at night, and the person that came to help left the lodge really dirty because of his boots. In addition to everything they tried to charge us an additional amount on the stay which was not applicable. Very frustrating unfortunately.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom Cheddar Lodge which was very comfortable indeed and well maintained. Plenty of space for the 3 of us.
