The property offers spacious, light and airy accommodation for families and groups of friends who wish to explore the delights of the Somerset countryside. The spacious living room has a woodburning stove so you can keep cosy on those chilly winter nights, and two double sofa beds offer flexible sleeping arrangements. From the living room, step out onto the terrace and relax in the hot tub after the day's activities, whilst enjoying the views. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dining area, perfect for those days when you don't want to barbecue on the terrace. All four bedrooms enjoy stunning views of the countryside. Upstairs, on the first floor, the master bedroom has a comfy king-size bed and an en-suite shower room, along with stunning panoramic lake and countryside views. Across the landing is another double bedroom, while the two single bedrooms are on the second floor. Outside, there is a south-facing, enclosed lawned garden, the perfect place for children to play whilst you enjoy a drink in the sunshine. The cottage is an ideal base to explore the Mendip or Quantock Hills, the beaches at Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare, the caves at Cheddar and Wookey Hole, or the wonderful cities of Bristol and Bath. Set in such a tranquil location, Jer & Mer's Place provides a wonderful holiday base at any time of the year.

The town of Bridgwater has plenty to interest visitors including shopping, historic buildings and a excellent selection of restaurants and pubs. Also an annual Bridgwater Illuminated Carnival takes place in November. Cheddar is only a few miles away, as is Glastonbury, home of King Arthur and pop festivals. The fascinating wetland areas surrounding Bridgwater are internationally renowned for wildfowl and wading birds. Nearby Shapwick Heath has an excellent wetland nature reserve.
