The accommodation is perfect for two and it was great to have our own private garden space as the weather was lovely. There’s even a washing line and pegs! The kitchen is well equipped if you want to eat at home or there is a decent local pub you can walk to. Despite the peaceful setting, you are a short drive away from shops, pubs and lots of lovely places to visit such as Wells, Cheddar and The Mendips. We would definitely recommend.

Cozy Rook is a self contained annex to the owners cottage with its own self contained access and garden. The cottage whilst not huge is more than big enough for 2. The cottage is pretty well equipped and is warm and comfy. The bed is comfortable and large (although it is also very bouncy and you can feel your partner moving around). The kitchen is well equipped with a good sized oven, hob and under the worktop refrigerator. The fridge isn't huge, but is big enough for the food for 2 for five or six days. NB the freezer is just an icebox. The bathroom is nicely appointed with a powerful shower, although care is needed when using the handheld element of the shower otherwise the wetroom becomes very wet. The views of the countryside are good. Parking more than adequate for 1 medium sized car (we have a Quashqai). The cottages location is ideal for any of the attractions between Bristol and Exeter , including the North Somerset Coast, such as the West Somerset Railway, Montacute House, Glastonbury Abbey, Wells Cathederal and Seaton Tramway etc. Our host Maxine was very friendly, helpful and informative. We enjoyed our break at Cozy Rook and will look to go back again in the future. Thank you Maxine.
