Three steps up to fitted kitchen (washing machine, microwave). Spacious living/dining room with exposed stone walls, wood floor (rugs), woodburner-effect electric fire, sofa bed, TV/DVD and glazed doors to the patio and garden. Shower-room (suite). Open tread stairs up to a mezzanine with 5’ double bed, exposed roof trusses and windows on three sides with those lovely views. No children under 6, except pre-crawling babies. "A most delightful, well-appointed and spotlessly clean cottage in a beautiful location with views from practically every window. The hosts Nick and Hope are absolutely fantastic and made me feel instantly at home. Can't recommend highly enough."

  • Mrs P A Sharp

"A thoroughly enjoyable holiday in Somerset where there is plenty to see and do. From the historic city of Wells, to mystic Glastonbury, to Clarks shopping village, the Fleet Air Arm Museum or long country walks, all tastes are catered for. The cottage is ideal for two and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back."

  • Mr R. Smith

"I came across helpful holidays by chance as the websites I usually visit, like English Country Cottages, Cottages 4u, Welcome Cottages etc, didn't have suitable properties in the area we wanted to visit. I was very pleasantly surprised at the professional, speedy and efficient way, in which my enquiry was processed, including the useful information provided, and the fact that the post dated cheque for the return of the deposit cheque accompanies the booking confirmation. The property was exceptional and it's owners extremely helpful and friendly."
