… about a mile from Wookey, in the small hamlet of Yarley, a spacious, stylish cottage converted from an old cider barn attached to the friendly owners’ farmhouse, with outstanding views to the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels. Private patio (table/chairs) and garden, occasionally shared with the owners, with direct access to a public footpath, the start of lovely walks into the hills and surrounding countryside.
Three steps up to fitted kitchen (washing machine, microwave). Spacious living/dining room with exposed stone walls, wood floor (rugs), woodburner-effect electric fire, sofa bed, TV/DVD and glazed doors to the patio and garden. Shower-room (suite). Open tread stairs up to a mezzanine with 5’ double bed, exposed roof trusses and windows on three sides with those lovely views. No children under 6, except pre-crawling babies. A lovely cottage in a peaceful location for just soaking up the stunning countryside, or for getting out and about with lots to do in the region.

From the historic city of Wells, to mystic Glastonbury, to Clarks shopping village, the Fleet Air Arm Museum or long country walks, all tastes are catered for. The cottage is ideal for two and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back."
