The first of the three bedrooms is situated on the ground floor, comprising of twin beds and en-suite shower room. Enjoy underfloor heating throughout. Upstairs are the two larger bedrooms, with one kingsize bed with floor to ceiling window and en-suite, and a double bedroom with en-suite. Outside there are many options to enjoy the extensive garden and paved patio areas, with outdoor furniture to relax and unwind.
Yr Hen Feudy at Pentre Farm offers off road parking, accommodating enough spaces for all staying. Situated at the end of a gated lane, it is in the perfect location for exploring Wales and Shropshire with numerous places of interest an easy drive away, whilst walks and cycle trails are right on the doorstep. Pistyll Rhaeadr (Waterfall) Llanrhaeadr, one of the Seven wonders of Wales is within a 20-minute drive away, along with Powys castle, Chirk castle, Erddig, Llangollen with white water rafting and horse drawn canal barges.
Don’t forget to visit the welcoming pub in the village, serving food and only a half an hour walk away, and there is also a children’s play area in the village. The historic city of Chester and its zoo is an easy drive away, as is the lovely town of Shrewsbury. We and our friends had a lovely week at the cottage. Malc was very inviting.We had fun with escaped sheep Molly and Dolly. Marc had different names !Fantastic rural spot with views to match. We hope to return again and hopefully take the good weather with us again.

Although a little isolated (2 farm gates to negotiate) the property is so comfortable and warm with views to die for it makes this small inconvenience worthwhile. Host Malc is very approachable and friendly. This property couldn't be faulted.

We had an amazing family holiday here with friends. Malc was very welcoming and even gave us tips on when to watch the bats. The accommodation was top notch and had everything you would need, including a box of bits to keep kids entertained. Highly recommend the local pub for food! We went for Sunday Lunch and enjoyed it that much we went back in the week. We will definitely be returning, maybe in the colder months to experience the log burner and the stunning views in a different season.
