The property has a natural water supply for a borehole. There is a lake 100 yards away.. Luxury pod based on an adults’ only site in the heart of the Powys countryside.
Lake Vyrnwy Luxury Pod was built in 2021 and is situated on the owner’s caravan and camping site.
Lake Vyrnwy, which is owned by the rspb, is 1½ miles from the pod and offers some fabulous walking and bird watching, from pied fly catchers to dippers’ nests by the lake. Ravens, buzzards and peregrines can all been seen from this beautiful spot.

We booked for two nights for our 5th wedding Anniversary. When we arrived at the pod, we were greeted with a galaxy selection pack for our anniversary. The little extra touch made it more special. Storm Amy hit us that night and we hardly slept. At one point we thought the doors were blown off. The whole pod was moving from the huge gust of wind. The following morning, we had a lazy morning as we didn’t sleep very well and then headed towards the lake. If you visit, you have to visit the lake!! The hot was amazing and what a fab idea of being under a shelter. Protected from the storm and relaxing in the hot tub. The views from the pod are amazing! We only saw it a little bit due to the weather. But we would highly recommend this place and we will definitely coming back!! Thank you again for making it special for us.

We had the most wonderful 6 nights away at Lake Vyrnwy Luxury glamping Pod.Bryn was so attentive and welcoming. The hot tub was out of use for the first 2 nights due to some issues with the water, but Bryn emptied it and refilled it ready for us to use. And it was a wonderful luxury to have, so relaxing!The views are beautiful, every morning looked different. We saw some beautiful places and sites, Shrewsbury town, Portmerion village, waterfalls, lakes, Snowdonia, Oswestry, Welshpool, castles, garden centres, the ironworks, rainbows, sheep and cows. It was truly idyllic and so so relaxing and quiet, adult only site was just what we were after as we had left our 3 children with my mum to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The peace was welcomed!The pod itself is a lovely modern cosy space, great shower, central heating, well equipped kitchen and a bed up a ladder!Only 1 thing i would suggest is to put a good mattress topper on the mattress its a little to thin (i assume because it cant be too heavy?) , and a topper would make it so much better to sleep on.
